Journey In the Reverse Gears

The youth Spent in mirth and merry-making
That suddenly changes into the old age
The unquenched thirst for love that goes on
singing songs of life and death
with the accompanying heart beats for ever
the laughter that fades away in
the yellowness all around
Searching the Spring behing
The enthusiastic affection, joy, frustration
misery and tear stiffle on borders
humanity's of footpaths,
The century living in darkness
gragually step by step vanishing
And we extinguish like the flickering flames of
The eartherm lamps of Diwali and repent
in the last phase of life,
surely because
we try to move the wheels of time
in the reverse gears
