learn that on the birth anniversary of Father of Nation Rashtriya Hindi Academy
has successfully organised 25 All India Official Language Conferences since
1989 to 2012. About 200 special Hindi Training Workshops, International Seminars on
Literature, Poet's Conferences, Cultural Programmes organised in which
different aspects of progressive use of Official Language Hindi was discussed
at length and Special Hindi Training provided to Executive Officers of
Govt. Ministries, Departments, PUCs, Corporations, Banks etc. 638 National
Rajbhasha-Shield Awards,108 National/International Honour on literature to
eminent authors of the country and abroad were awarded. By organising these
conferences comprehensive programme has
been undertaken regarding promotion of official Language Hindi and other Indian
Languages. In our previous conferences 48 Central Ministers, Governors, CMS,
VVIPs attended as chief guests.
The Academy proposes an International
Conference on Language and literature, O. L. Exhibition, Seminar & Special
Language Traning workshop on 25-27 October, 2013 at Gangtok (Sikkim) in
which representation of SARC and other nations are most humbly invited.
This Conference shall
boost up the Image of Indian Official Language, Hindi and National Languages
& Literature of SARC countries for sentimental integration and propogation
of Language Literature and cultures to develop International unity and brotherhood.
Also Tourism will be
promoted in the National and International Map as Sikkim is one of the most
beautiful Hill station, most charming
and world famous for tourism. The High peacks of silvery mountains, serinity,
beauty of the cloudy valleys, falls, lakes, rivers Budhist Temples make Gangtok
and its surrounding most beautifull and attractive.
I most earnestly request
that all the Govt. Ministries, Deptts, Undertakings, Banks, Corporations,
Financial Institutions. State Govts. Foreign Missions, Universities, Voluntary
Organisations, Academies etc. of SARC Countries should participate in the
conference and nominate their Representatives.

Dear Sir,
On 10th May 1963 Hindi has been accepted as Official Language of India
under Article 343 of our Constitution.
All the Government Ministries. Offices, undertakings, corporations,
Insurance Companies, Banks, etc.are required to implement the provisions of
Official Language Act, 1963, the Official Language Rules. 1976 and rules framed
thereunder. Since such offices have different types of functions to perform,
they are either not fully aware of the statutory provisions regarding Hindi
implementation or they find no solutions to the probems regarding effective
compliance of the rules in their respective offices. To overcome such
difficuties Rastriya Hindi Academy has organized International Conference on
Langugae and Literature, Seminars, Hindi training workshop on 25-27 Oct., 2013.
International perspective of Hindi and Literature of SARC Nations will be
discussed at Length. Representatives of foreing countries, SARC have been
invited in the conference.
knowledge of
the statutory provisions and other important decisions taken by the Department
of Official Language and other
Government Agencies, Parliamentary Committee on Official Language. The training course contains cent percent achievement of Annual Programe of
the Government, organization of Hindi
Training Workshops, Managerial competence regarding Hindi Implementation,
editing and publication of Hindi journals, probem of Hindi to English and English to Hindi translations,
information regarding inspection of
Parliamentary Committee on Official Language, Hindi on IT network etc.
For this purpose we have invited special faculty drawn from the Central
Government, public undertakings and universities International Languists so
that the trainees may be fully benefitted by vast experiences and learning.
To address the Official Language Conference and Special Hindi Training
Workshop H.E. Vice President of India, Hon’ble Prime Minister, H.E. President
Governors, Hon’ble Chief Minister of several states Central Ministers, VVIPs,
senior members of the Parliamentary Committee on Official Language, Linguists,
literateurs & others are invited.
The selected
Govt. Ministries, Departments, Corporations, Public undertakings, Banks
etc. will be awarded. Official
Language Academy International Rajbhasha
Shield for remarkable implementation of official
Language in their offices. On recommendation of Academy’s Selection Committee.
At the end of the
Conference of Special Hindi Training workshop an objective type Valuation
Session will be held focusing various aspects of implementaion of Official
language Act (1963) and rules framed thereunder and participants obtaining 1st,
2nd and 3rd position will be awarded International Academy-Rajbhasha Shields
& Certificate of merit. 3 Rajbhasha Exhibition Shields.
Five
National Rajbhasha Patrika Shield Awards will also be given to
the best regularly published O.L. Magazines, for remarkable layout, getup, printing and better
materials published by the Govt. Organizations, the participants adjudged 1st,
2nd and 3rd for the best display materials at the Rajbhasha Exhibition will also
be awarded Academy Rajbhasha Shield & Certificate of merit at the
closing open session of the Conference. Conference Sponsoring organisation will
be awarded vishist Rashtriya Rajbhasha Shild Samman
Official Language Exhibition
At the venue of Official
Language Conference an Official Language Exhibition for all the Government
Ministries / Organizations focusing the
progressive use of Hindi in post independent India will be organized.
The Offices of the Central Government, Departments, Government Undertakings,
Banks etc. may participate and exhibit their materials regarding progressive
use of Hindi at their offices. The space will be provided on payment of
participation fee at the rate of Rs. 100/- per square feet which includes
space, decoration, tables, panels, lights, name plates, media publicity etc. 3
types of stalls will be provided. The exhibition fee has to be paid in advance
by demand draft payable in favour of Rastriya Hindi Academy, Kolkata. Small-
100 sq. ft. Big - 200 sq. ft. Very Big 300 sq. ft. Exhibitors are requested
to bring their exhibits at the Venue of the Conference on their own risk &
responsibility and make it ready on 24.10.2013 by 5.00 PM. at alloted space and
take care of their exhibits. It is requested that all Ministries, Departs, PUC,
Banks and institutions working for promotion of Hindi should take part in the
O.L. Exhibition. Entry-fee, Nomination fee should be sent in advance by D.D.
favouring Rastriya Hindi Academy, Kolkata to the Secretary, Rashtriya Hindi
Academy administrative office- 3, Gibson Lane, Kolkata - 700 069. The
Officials arranging O.L. Exhibition Should reach on 9the May 2013 with their
exhibition and arrangiment Executives, Officials, Hindi Officers, Translators, Senior employees of
government organization related to implementation of Hindi and performing a
part or total of their daily work in Hindi and other executives may participate
Expences incurred in carrying the exhibits, decoration of material, control,
supervision, etc, will be the responsibility of the representative
organizations.

How to Reach Gangtok ( Sikkim )
Gangtok (Sikkim's) is
well connected by Air and Rail. There are Air India, Jet Airways, Spice Air and
other Air Services from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad etc.
Regular rail services are available. All trains comming from Banglore,
Tiruvanthpuram, Hyderabad, Chennai Delhi
are linked with New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Reach Gangtok from New Jalpaigudi or Bagdogra
Airport which is 124 KM by Taxi.
